Leadership Summary
Ed Croghan develops, implements, manages, and
evaluates strategic Worksite Wellness and Health Promotion Programming,
and Medical Care Services for employers. With 20 year's experience
in health care, his areas of expertise are Occupational & Emergency
Medicine, and Employee Health Management. During his
corporate career, Ed worked for a Managed Care Organization, University
Medical Center, Community Hospital, and a multi-state multi-hospital
Health Care System.
Most recently, he founded Corporate Health Associates, Inc. (CHA),
a health services and injury management consultancy providing guidance
to employers to increase organizational productivity by improving employee
health. CHA is a Certified Community Leader for Value-driven Health
Care; Certification from the lead Federal agency within the
Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) charged with improving
quality, safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of health care services
in America. HHS Community Leaders work at the grass roots level and
collaborate to transform local health care services through quality improvement
and reporting.
Ed has negotiated over 1,000 health and medical services contracts.
He created the Doctor-On-Call Program (DOC); Now, a worldwide "real
time" physician-driven communications, triage and medical management
protocol for work-related injury and illness. DOC is supported
by state-of-the-art call center technology and provides immediate
telephonic consultation 24/7. DOC services include "near time" RN case
management, as well as Corporate Medical Directorship.
A dedicated safety advocate, Ed served five years on the Board of Directors
of the Safety Council of Greater St. Louis. He has been
a contributing writer to the Safety Council's quarterly newsletter,
and a guest speaker at employer sponsored and professional association
meetings.
Ed earned the Well Workplace Practitioner Certification in multiple-component
corporate wellness management. He is a Certified Smoking Cessation
Facilitator; a Certified Workers' Compensation Professional;
and OSHA Certified for General Industry.
Ed is an experienced team leader and skilled innovator; Manages multiple projects, supervises, motivates and supports peers, colleagues, staff, and volunteers. A client centered lateral thinker with excellent leadership, communication, collaboration, and facilitation skills.
