Fulfilled a request to design and staff a H&W kiosk for the inaugural opening day race at the new Gateway International Raceway motor sports facility in Madison, IL.  Parlayed that opportunity into exclusive emergency medical and fist aid provider service agreements with Gateway, NASCAR, NHRA, and CART for the entire initial  season of events; Level I and II regional emergency trauma centers, specialty burn care unit, ambulance and air transportation, all spectator first aid stations, outfitted and staffed raceway infield emergency medical unit.  Coordinated emergency transportation routes multiple commercial railroads, local police and fire services.  The hospital benefited by a multi-year service relationship with the raceway.

Tenure began as a Corporate Health Specialist, providing direct sales and customer relationship management for this teaching medical center and its industrial rehabilitation program, which supported six freestanding occupational health clinics.  Targeted and sold new accounts; assessed needs, formulated proposals, and made selling presentations.  Promoted to Corporate Health Consultant as high profile liaison for internal clinic based physicians and external physician specialists, rehabilitation professionals, case managers, defense attorneys, TPA’s, insurance carriers and self-insured employers.  Organized focus groups, produced work site safety videos, coordinated health education seminars, and WC panel discussions.


Employment Prior to 1989

Served as Account Representative for Maxicare Health Plans of Missouri, performing managed care group health benefits sales and marketing, annual renewals, and broker information and seminar presentations.  Orchestrated group health benefits open enrollments.
