Announces New Strategic Certification
- Community Leader for Value-driven Health Care. CHA recently received Federal Certification as a Community Leader for Value-driven Health Care. Approval certification from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) - the lead Federal agency charged with improving quality, safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of health care services in America. HHS / AHRQ Community Leaders work to achieve the "four cornerstones of value-driven health care" in local communities, and collaborate to chart the course to transform health care at the local level through quality improvement and reporting. The four cornerstones are:
- Interoperable Health Information Technology (Health IT Standards)
- Measure and Publish Quality Information (Quality standards)
- Measure and Publish Price Information (Price Standards)
- Promote Quality and Efficiency of Care (Align Incentives)
